Retail Parks space to lease
Space for lease in Multiparcs (SBU)
The LCP Group, the owner of Galeria Emka in Koszalin, is starting the expansion of the project with a modern Retail Park. It will complement the existing shopping centre and will significantly expand the currently available wide offer by adding life-style functions.
“Galeria Emka” is the first shopping centre in Koszalin situated in a great location and having diverse tenants mix. In 2017, project EMKA was thoroughly modernised and upgraded by its owner, LCP Group. The centre has an excellent range of tenants tailored to the needs of the 50,000 people living within the gallery's direct catchment area, as well as the seaside tourists who visit it every year during the holiday season. .
In June 2021, LCP's Board of Directors decided to start the expansion of the Project. The next phase involves the construction of a 2-storey retail park building, with an area of almost 10,000 sqm. New tenants will complement the Shopping Centre’s offer with entertainment and leisure functions. Over 2,000 sqm will be occupied by a modern fitness club Just Gym and another 2,200 sq m by the Helios cinema with several screening rooms, including two premium class ones. In addition to the above tenants, the retail park will offer shops and services of a wide range of leading chain brands present on the Polish market. One example is Sinsay, which will occupy an area of over 1,200 sqm in the new phase and will thus be the brand's largest shop in the entire region.
Currently over 65% of the retail park is already leased and we expect to sign further contracts with market leading brands in the near future. Most importantly, the expansion project has a valid Building Permit and LCP is finalising the tender for the general contractor for the whole expansion, which will be announced in the 3rd quarter of this year.
"We have used the lockdown period very well to prepare and optimise the project which will allow us to complete it and put it into operation in the second half of 2022. We are preparing further investments throughout Poland, tailored to market needs, throughout Poland, about which we will soon be able to say more.” – says Jarosław Kotyna, Development Director in LCP company.
After the expansion, the EMKA complex will offer more than 70 shops, including new large-format shops that will be available in the retail park. Together with 800 sqm. of the office space, a multiplex, a food-court and a fitness centre, EMKA shopping mall, together with the retail park extension, will offer more than 25,000 sqm. of the GLA of retail and services available to the Koszalin’s inhabitants and tourists.
EMKA, together with the new Retail Park, will thus become a leading, multifunctional and timeless project of the latest generation, combining the functions of satisfying daily needs of the customers and providing a source of weekend entertainment in the region. We hope that this state-of-the-art project will be an important point on the city map not only for its residents, but also for tourists visiting the West Pomeranian region, for whom, as every year, the owner of the EMKA Centre has prepared plenty of attractions during the summer season.
"We are entering an active phase of the project's expansion, which will allow us not only to extend and complement the excellent offer of the existing EMKA Centre, but also, by offering modern brands and services, to attract new customers to our new retail park" - emphasizes Justyna Małysko, Leasing Manager of the project at LCP.
The Retail Park extension is scheduled to be open in the 2nd half of 2022
In addition to actively investing in operating facilities, the LCP Group plans to develop its activities in the development segment and encourages the cooperation of all agents and owners of commercial land who can offer their products and services in Retail Park and Small Business Units projects..
